Blaxy Premium Resort and Hotel introduces a new concept of business in Romania

Built on a vacant lot between the Olimp and the 23 August seaside resorts, Blaxy Resort and Hotel proposes a new type of leisure travel in Romania, offering tourists the opportunity of turning their vacation into a business. Located in a relatively virgin area, next to a wild beach, the housing complex also offers the comfort and the same type of attractions that the more popular beachside resorts do (various types of pools, bars, water games, etc.), so business opportunities are plentiful.

In this regard, Blaxy introduces a relatively new business concept in Romania, namely that of timesharing, through which the housing units at Blaxy can be purchased and then rented or re-sold, but their use is limited strictly to the summer season. Specifically, with the acquisition of an apartment in that complex, the owner will have lifetime access to this holiday home, but he will only be able to use it for a minimum of one weak and a maximum of 36 weeks per year, as the remaining time is devoted to managing and improving the services at the resort. The cost of a minimum package (7 days per year) is EUR 4,000 for a room but the price can reach up to EUR 9,000 for the same package in case the client wants an apartment. Prices may rise further in case the owner decides to resell.

In addition, since Blaxy Resort is a member of the Interval International organization, a timesharing organization which allows accommodation owners from Blaxy to exchange properties with 2 million other homeowners from across the globe, of course, for vacation purposes only.

As such, interest in Blaxy is already high, the complex registering no less than 3,000 owners for the 540 rooms currently available to tourists. By 2019, the developer aims to set up no less than 900 rooms, with an intention of building also thermal SPA with sulfur based water, which could be used as treatment for various illnesses, as well as conference centers and other attractions. Consequently, one could argue that the Blaxy resort is open for business.
