Discover Cristina’s delicious home-made goodies

In a world that is constantly on the run, it is rare that we see somebody take the time and put in the effort to make something of high quality. But sadly, without this investment, the results are less than desirable.

We all want to eat healthily and organically, but few of us have the time to cook ourselves. Luckily, there is someone who has taken it upon herself to remedy this situation. Her name is Cristina Socea, she lives in Piatra Neamț and she makes vegetable and fruit preserves that she sells online. She has become rather famous due to her novel idea and to her healthy and natural cooking methods. Everything about her business is transparent, from the buying of produce (from local producers) to the cooking (which she does after a 100 year old recipe book) to the preserving (for which she uses traditional ovens and cauldrons).

Cristina and her husband have an unusual story. They went to work in Italy in 1998 and they returned after 5 years. Having saved up, they invested over and over again until they gained enough to start this preserve business.

The idea for a small business such as they have started came to them when they were in Italy. This is where they saw many family businesses that operated only at a local level so as to keep the quality of the products in check. It is for this reason that they refuse to expand. They ship products all over the world, but they still work in small quantities so as to be able to do everything manually and with the required care and attention.

Not only does Cristina Socea personally manage every aspect of the production, but she also runs the company website, where she constantly communicates with people who either make orders or address complaints and praises. But she is fairly confident that people are satisfied with her work, because she uses only the freshest ingredients and does everything in the utmost cleanliness.
