Classical crossover genre is returning to Romania by his most famous representative, Sarah Brightman. After two years after her latest concert dedicated to the Romanian public, the artist, accompanied by an orchestra composed of 50 musicians, returns to the Romanian scene with a Gala. The show will be highlighted by the soprano’s voice and her unique repertoire, as well as her special guest, tenor Mario Frangoulis.
Sarah Brightman is a singer of British origin, known for her musical style approached in her repertoire, a unique combination, resulting in symphonic influences, pop and rock, which is called the classic crossover. Also the soprano was noted for her live performances, in various languages such as Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese and Chinese.
She became the best-selling soprano of all time and was the inspiration for the famous musical of all time, "Phantom of the Opera" by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Sarah Brightman is the only artist ever invited to perform at the ceremony of two Olympic Games.
Her discography carrier consists of 11 studio albums and three live albums, most of them being awarded with Gold and Platinum disks. Throughout her career, Sarah Brightman has claimed four world tours and numerous concerts on all continents. Also, the soprano climbed on stage alongside big names off international music, such as Andrea Bocelli, Alessandro Safina and Nigel Kennedy.
