Cosmetic Plant - your beauty 360

Cosmetic Plant was founded in 1991 by pharmacist Ileana Mester, who had 20 years of experience in cosmetology. Mrs Mester, who passed away in 2009, believed in the miraculous power of plants and of natural ingredients and as a consequence, she used nature as her main inspiration in the creation of the Cosmetic Plant products.

The firm had a difficult start, with the founder working by herself in a 40 square meter room using an agitator made out of a boiling pot. But over time, through sustained effort, the firm grew into one of the most appreciated Romanian brands of cosmetics.

The products are all made from natural ingredients like honey and mother bee milk, argan oil, Aloe Vera, green tea, sea buckthorn, marigold, chamomile and rose hip. The brand has different creams and ointments for face, body, hands, feet, anti-cellulite, anti-acne and for hair.

The natural ingredients used are well known for their beneficial effects upon the skin and hair. Honey is used in all kinds of skin treatments because it is nutritious, curative and moisturizing. It contains plenty of vitamins, like B1, B2, B5, B3, A, C, D and K. Mother bee milk regenerates the epithelial tissue – which gives the skin back its shine –, stimulates collagen production – which prevents lines –, hydrates the skin in depth and vitalizes the hair, reducing dandruff.

Sea buckthorn contains plenty of vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin A, calcium, magnesium and iron In fact, it contains 10 times the amount of Vitamin C found in oranges and more Vitamin E than all the other fruit. It is also rich in omega-3, omega-6, omega-9 and omega-7. That is why it is so beneficial for the skin. Applied to the face and neck, the Cosmetic Plant products based on sea buckthorn hydrate the skin, make it more elastic and protect it against the strong sunrays.

Marigold is also famous for its effects on the skin. Cosmetic Plant marigold creams are especially good during the cold season. They have a hydrating and nourishing effect and it are completely natural.
