Anyone searching the Internet for information about Dumbrăvița, notes that this place is presented as one that is a kind of paradise present in Romania. This is not due to natural landscapes or other factors that can give the uniqueness of a place, but is the product of prosperity.

Where is Dumbrăviţa? The place where it is said that poverty is non-existent is close to the town Timisoara and lately, has become almost a myth of abundance and well-being. The place has an interesting story regarding the prosperity and has always been an area of economic development.

After the fall of the communist regime, the town has had great economic progress, determined by the quality of infrastructure; and this has attracted many people in this place. Among those who have chosen to live in Dumbrăviţa, there are rich people, businessmen, managers of companies, or persons known in the medical field, sports, arts, etc.

Dumbrăviţa could be considered an example of economic prosperity, through the attraction of major companies, as Dunca Expedition, Petrom, Kaufland, and European funded projects.

As in Dumbravita exists a strong Hungarian community, most of the projects were cross-border with Hungary. At the cultural level, Dumbrăviţa stands out as a multicultural place, with a historic Hungarian community, to which were added over time Romanians, and in recent years, other minorities who have chosen to live here.

There are three churches: the Reformed, the Roman Catholic and the Orthodox. The oldest of them is the Reformed, and is a symbol of Dumbrăviţa.

The interculturality of the place is evidenced through the two statues of the Romanian and the Hungarian national poets: Petofi Sandor and Mihai Eminescu.
