Animal owners have a rather difficult task when booking a vacation. They either have to find someone to take care of their pet, or, take their companion with them. Obviously, opting to travel with an animal brings forth some issues of its own, like the journey itself and the means of transportation as well as finding accommodations that accept pets.
Alternatively, when you are invited to take part in a trip designed specifically for dogs, some of these worries are left aside, being replaced by the pleasure of an unrestrained experience with your beloved animal and, of course, with other animal lovers and the quadrupeds that accompany them. The best part of such an initiative is that the Retrievers Camp aims not only to bring together people and their loved ones, but also to invite them to participate in a series of activities and workshops aimed at strengthening the relationship between master and animal and to also educate and cultivate the maintenance of such a relationship based on a more profound knowledge of animal behavior and of the specificity of each dog breed.
Thus, the organizers of the camp want it to become a constant presence on the map of animal lovers in Romania. The principle of such an initiative is simple: the Golden and Labrador Retriever owners who want to participate sign up on the Facebook page of the camp, and once the desired number (generally somewhere around 14-20 people) is reached, the trip begins to be planned. It lasts for 3 days (from Friday to Sunday) and includes hiking, activities, workshops and obviously meals for both the pets and their owners, organized either in nature or at the guesthouse where accommodation is provided.
At any moment such a concept can be extended to include other dog breeds and even other animals, so Retrievers Camp 2018 may be the beginning of a trend among animal lovers.
