Located in the north of the Capital, in Baloteşti, the complex has indoor and outdoor gardens that make up the largest botanical tropical garden in Romania. The thermal water extracted from over 3,100 meters deep, fuelling 8 swimming pools and 16 water slides and more than 800,000 plants, of which 500 genuine palms adorn a huge garden, which represents the relaxation space.
Once there, you can admire rare species of palms, like those of Veitchia variety, natives of the islands of Vanuatu in the Pacific. But the tropical star is the "Tree of Life" (Ficus Religiosa), which has over 120 years old, brought from China. With a total area of 250,000 sqm outdoor and 30,000 sqm indoor, Therme Bucharest can simultaneously receive up to 4,000 visitors, who can indulge in any of the three areas of the complex: The Palm, Elysium and Galaxy.
The Palm, the relaxation area, includes the garden in the center of which lies the main pool with thermal water at 33 Celsius degrees. Other 3 pools with aromatherapy invite visitors to have a bathe. From above, you can admire the tropical forest and for a perfect relaxing the sunbeds with hydromassage are waiting for you.
Elysium, the pampering zone, is equipped with: a panoramic swimming pool enriched with zinc and selenium, 6 themed saunas, 9 places with sunbeds, rooms for massage and a restaurant which puts you at your disposal the most delicious dishes.
Galaxy, the playground for the whole family, was designed to enjoy and to fascinate the whole family, adults included. The pools with waves, the spectacular water slides, the spaces to relax among exotic plants, the snak bar and other services designed to create a good mood, are ready to be stormed.
An original show - Bucharest Symphony Orchestra, surprises visitors with a unique concert held around the swimming pool
Eighty Bucharest Symphony Orchestra musicians, dressed in bathing suits or bathrobes, turned the complex into an unusual concert hall. The public came to relaxation and fun, was delighted to hear the "Romanian Rhapsody" by George Enescu and the "Radetzky March" by Johann Strauss, while relaxing in the pool.
The event was a premiere.
