Negura Bunget returns to Bucharest on September 24, during a concert in Club Fabrica, an event that will celebrate the official launch of the new album "ZI", 20 years of activity of Negura Bunget, and 10 years from the release of the album "OM". The concert playlist will directly reflect this anniversary and will include new songs, sung for the first time, and some old, with a particular emphasis on those from the album "OM".
The album "ZI" will be released in the fall, as the second part of the trilogy inspired by Transylvania, which explores the human element, practices and traditions, in touch with nature and how it has shaped the spiritual horizon of the locals.
Negura Bunget is a Romanian black metal band. It was founded as Wiccan Rede at the end of 1994, in duo formula (Hupogrammos Disciple and Black).
In November of that year they recorded their first demo, From Transylvanian Forest.
Their debut album Zîrnindu-să, launched by the end of 1996, brings the band's name change to the one we know today and crystallization of a specific ideology. The next album appeared in 1998 under the title Sala Molksa. With this, the band was joined by the third official member, Spurcatu. Their first stage appearance abroad takes place at the Open Hell Festival in Volyn (Czech Republic), and in 2000 they launched Maiastru Sfetnic, the third album. Their popularity grew in the underground, so they had other concerts in Romania and neighboring countries (Serbia, Hungary) and a contract with Code666 Records, a record label in Italy.
