The pension has all the prerequisites to be able to achieve its objectives, being located near to one of the most enigmatic Dacian fortresses, Piatra Roşie (Red Stone ) and to other vestiges , which formed sometime, the system of Dacian fortifications and settlements from the Orăştie Mountains: Sarmisegetuza Regia, Costeşti-Fortress, Costeşti-Blidaru, Feţele Albe (White Faces). It can be reached relatively easily from other tourist objectives in the area, such as: Corvin Castle in Hunedoara, Deva Fortress, the bison reservation from Armenis and Haţeg.
Tourists can participate in programs organized by the professional tour guides, can participate in presentations of historical and ethnographic themes, can watch documentary films. Here are organized even experimental archaeology activities and excursions on trails less known by the widely public.
For who wants to stay at the pension, there is a library where they can read quietly.
The wooden cottage built in the traditional style, but equipped according to modern demands of comfort, has 8 rooms, each provided with bath, where the hot water flows continuously. For those who wish, there are 5 wooden bungalows equipped with two beds each and provided with a porch. There are even the camping plots for tents and caravans, illuminated and equipped with sockets, with showers with refrigerators to preserve the food.
The kitchen is equipped professionally, the menu is mutually agreed with the tourists, the foods are prepared with organic products taken from the own solarium or from the peasant in the area. The menus are usually traditional and regularly it organizes the special sessions of ancient cookery. All these wonders happen into a splendid natural surrounding which creates an oasis of peace, joy and relaxation. You can live magical moments of communion with the nature and you can switch your thoughts towards ancient times.
