The complex, which covers an area of 17,000 square meters, opened its doors on December 31th, 2017. Since then, it is a favorite destination for both locals and tourists.
Although dedicated to children in particular, the playground offers a wide range of exciting experiences for adults as well. For example, the 8D cinema is definitely an attraction for all ages. It has a panoramic view of 360 degrees and the visual elements are complemented by a multitude of special effects such as: wind, fog, rain, earthquakes, etc. The action virtually takes place all around spectators, the concept being unique in Europe. The complex also offers winter sports enthusiasts the opportunity to ski, proposing an artificial ski slope. Although it is designed primarily for beginners, there are portions where one can reach even 35 kilometers per hour, with a 23-degree slope.
Obviously, the complex could not afford to leave out theme parks, carousels or electronic games that complete the experience for those who walk into Superland. Important parts of the complex are adapted or specially built for children, from steps to entrances and furniture. Overall, you can easily lose an entire day in the complex, especially since it also includes a Food Court, where, after so much fun, both the little ones and their parents can enjoy something to eat.
The entire complex and its setup amounted to approximately EUR 10 million, but Superland’s success seems to be guaranteed, especially because the positioning of the playground is very fortunate, finding itself on a local touristic route. Basically, Superland is situated on the road that links Braşov to the Rașnov fortress, a touristic attraction that is on the list of almost anyone that reaches the parts of Brașov and its surroundings.
