Caravans are a way of life. For some, they are a home, for others the preferred means of transport during holidays. In Romania, this hybrid between a home and a car has never enjoyed much popularity.
However, there are premises that things may pick up in this area, especially in the context of the coming of age of Millennials or Generation Y, as they are called. This generation is characterized by a great desire for freedom and independence, while at the same time not being interested in respecting traditional customs such as marriage or buying a home. Millennials are always keen on adventure and want to live their lives to the fullest. Many of them are also animal and nature lovers, while curiosity and the thirst for exploration characterize them to the fullest.
Thus, conventional ways of traveling and being a tourist are generally refuted by members of this generation, who want to be as original as possible. In this regard, trailers seem to fit pretty well into the landscape. Stemming from this belief, a couple from Sibiu launched the concept of Nomad Caravan, a business that offers interested parties the opportunity of renting trailers. The vehicles are comfortable and well suited to this exploring urge that more and more Romanians are experiencing. Also, such a mode of transport offers the freedom to roam through all sorts of places, both within nature and in tumultuous cities, obviously without worrying about finding or paying for accommodation.
The proposed Nomad Caravan trailers have the capacity of housing 4-6 people and are suitable for any season, being equipped with heating systems. Prices are also reasonable, especially if split among several people, thus making them ideal for Millennials.
