Divine Area Winery, the wine with 1000 faces

Dealu Mare area is one of the most notorious wine-growing areas in Romania, where over 15,000 hectares of vineyards created exceptional wines, recognized both in the country and abroad.

30 kilometers from the town of Urlați, Prahova County in the Breaza - Fințești vineyard, in 2007, the Divine Area / 1000 Chipuri Winery was established. On an area of 64 hectares, 60 000 liters of wine are produced annually and the production is 75% red wines and 25% white wines. The cultivated grape varieties are: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Fetească Albă, Riesling Italian, Tămâioasă Românească, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Fetească Neagră, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc.

The wine range of the Divine Area Winery are: "1000 faces", "Distinctis", "Wild Carpathia", "Dei Gratia". The producers created a wine with personality and they simply invite us to taste the wine at the wine cellar or the "Dealul Colinelor" pension that has 20 seats B&B accommodation, at the restaurant or to the 300 people event room.

In 2012, Divine Area launched the "1000 faces" range in which the owners paid tribute to those who worked the land that produced the wine. With a painful history, these people: Candea, Iordache, Luscan had their estates confiscated and some of them spent some time in the prison during the communist regime. As a sign of respect for all the anonymous people from the history, it was given a name "1000 faces" and at the same time, a part of the history of this land was recovered. "1000 faces" is a carefully selected wine range because "wine is like the man. It is born, it evolves ... has the bitter taste of pain, sometimes the sweetness of joy, but the most appreciated is the dry, long taste and the subtle bouquet of life. "
