Bogdan Domain, established in 2011, aimed to produce the highest quality and completely natural wine. The cultivated area is 154 hectares and it lies between the Danube River and the Black Sea in the Murfatlar vineyard. The cultivated grapes varieties are: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat Ottonel, Muscat Blanc, Riesling, Feteasca Neagra, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir.
Bogdan Domain Winery uses a biodynamic viticulture, in which the principles of nature are respected in order to bring balance and healing to the soil and plants. This allows the “terroir” to express itself by creating authentic flavors and producing exceptional wines.
The winery, located in Medgidia, was inaugurated in 2017 and it is designed to maximize the potential of the grapes. Starting with 2016, Bogdan Domain wines are certified as organic according to the European Bio Austria Guarantee standards. There is a wide range of wines on the market under the names: Grai, Unu ', Bogdan Domain Selection, Primordial, Bogdan Domain Reserva.
Bogdan Domain wines received awards at the most important competitions in the field such as: Rosé Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 - gold medal, Muscat Ottonel 2017 and Sauvignon Blanc 2017 - silver medals at Milesime Bio, France (the most important bio wine competition from the world), Bogdan Domain Chardonnay 2017 - silver medal at the Chardonnay du Monde Competition, France, Bogdan Fetească Neagră 2016 - bronze medal at the Decanter Competition, England.
