Dana and Constantin Din, wife and husband, started the business adventure with Romanian traditional products in 1998 when they recorded the first brand – "Să ai poftă boierule!" – a wholesale trade business in the segment of canned vegetables and fruits. However, the idea of a store where to sell Romanian traditional “homemade” products is not new, but it was materialized in 2013.

The “Boyar's Mansion” store is based on a concept made by novelty and originality. The boyar is actually the customer, which should be respected, served and feasted, as well as once the nobles were treated, while the products must bring into the families “the taste of childhood”. The store was set up in an 100 years old house, with direct entrance from the street. Next to the store there is a little terrace, where guests can sit and chat, sip a coffee made on the spot, or consuming a sorbet, a jam, or homemade cakes made after grandmother's recipe.

This is a "custom" of the house, which is part of the new store concept. In the rooms beautifully decorated in the grocer's style, the shelves are filled with all sorts of goodies. A smiling lady, proudly bearing a Romanian traditional blouse, beautifully embroidered, greets you from behind the counter. The local faithful customers, interested in organic products, come with open hearts here, where can also buy cooked food made in the manor's kitchen .They are treated as guests came in visit, being considered as family members.

“It's a family store for other families. We involve ourselves directly, my husband takes care of the supply and I have changed the drawing board with the table for stretching the pie sheets. I oversee daily the cuisine in order to get things done the right way and when I design a new product, I am the first who prepares it”, said with a jovial and friendly air, Dana Din.

All the products from the store are authentic, some taken directly from traditional producers, others - such as sorbets, jam - are purchased from nuns. Of course there are also products produced and prepared right in the kitchen of the mansion. The cakes and other specialties are made according to old recipes, from the interwar period, which belonged to the grandmother of Constantin Dinu. It's actually a notebook, written carefully which has turned into a valuable document placed in the frame.

Soon, in the attic of the house, it will be opened a restaurant that will operate on the concept of “the family dinner” to which is added the phrase – “a boyar will always remain a boyar”. To all those who shop from the “Boyar's Mansion”, we wish them: “Enjoy your meal boyar!”
