Danube Delta, one of the most expensive holiday destinations in Romania

Danube Delta is a fascinating piece of heaven located in Romania. Still, tourists that want to admire the natural wonders of that area must pay quite a lot of money

This incredible vegetation island, where tourists can gaze at sand dunes, wild beaches, reed areas and over 5,000 plants or living beings attracts tourists all around the world each year.

Danube Delta, Romania’s paradise surrounded by water, is the perfect place for those wanting to discover extraordinary things. However, travelers desiring to spend their holiday among water lilies and pelicans must pay a certain amount of money. For years in a row, Danube Delta was perceived as an expensive holiday destination.

How much is a Danube Delta holiday?  

Paradise Delta House indicates that a luxury vacation is at least Lei 1,200 / person for a four-day stay in the Danube Delta paradise, transfer and trips included. Thus, tourists stay in a b&b located on an island and can eat traditional dishes or enjoy their coffee on the terrace located on the banks. In the first day of the stay, tourists are waited at Tulcea Pontoon Ferry Crossing for being taken to Danube Delta on luxury ships. The evening ends with a traditional fish dinner.

The second day, after breakfast, a trip to Sulina takes place, time when tourists admire the most beautiful wild lakes in Delta. In Sulina, tourists can sunbathe in a wonderful place where Danube meets Black Sea. A “Paradise” lunch follows, with fish sour soup and traditional fish dishes, a relaxation program and diner, which will also be traditional fish meal.

The third day has a trip to Danube Delta Lakes planned, which will last for approximately four hours, then lunch, relaxation time and diner. The fourth day, after breakfast, tourists will depart to Tulcea.

If you want to take a kayak or canoe tour or a trip at dawn, each person must pay Lei 50 for each of those activities. Those wanting to stay five days in Danube Delta pay as much as Lei 1,550 / person; for a seven-day stay the tariff is Lei 1,650 / person.
