Vox Vertical Village is a new concept for Romania, a premiere on the residential market in the country, where the norm in the field of construction was horizontal development. The project is all the more surprising as it proposes the development of a vertical city in Timişoara, a city resting on a plain, which is by definition an area suitable for horizontal constructions.
Besides the glory accompanying the development of a unique concept in the entire country, the idea of raising a vertical city was also influenced by the desire to place it close to Vox Technology Park, another innovation, this time in office buildings, developed by the same contractor. As such, the Vox Vertical Village will bring together 120 homes in a 10-storey building and will consist of a vertical forest design, with over 1,000 shrubs and different plants being planted in both communal areas as well as within the terraces of each home. Thus, over one third of the built area of the Vox Vertical Village will consist of green areas and terraces.
The ensemble will make available to prospective tenants a host of facilities, including a generous atrium with a high degree of natural illumination that will encourage community interaction, an outdoor pool, a reception area, a cinema and a fully equipped fitness room. Vox Vertical Village will also have an underground and overground car park consisting of a total of 138 parking spaces - 94 underground and 44 overground. Although the cost of a home in the future vertical city has not yet been made public, it is to predict that they will be at least as elevated as the building itself.
